High Cheese is Back

Winter Blues Brie Gone - High Cheese, our cheesy twist on high tea, is returning to the Lobby Lounge. Created in collaboration with Maker & Monger, Prahran Market's ‘Chapel of Cheese', High Cheese serves up three tiers of sweet and savoury treats with cheese as the star ingredient. Grab a fellow cheese lover and indulge in all the cheesy gouda-ness from June 4th.

Gouda things come to those who wait. Our iconic iteration of cheesy high tea - High Cheese - is coming back, bigger and better than ever. Available for a limited time only. Reservations are essential.

Savoury temptations on the menu this year include alpine cheese scones with white wine & Gippsland Jersey butter, baked le Duc Vacherin with garlic, thyme and wine with quinoa, soya and amaranth sourdough, Cervelle de canut finger lime spread with Yarra Valley Dairy fresh curd and roquefort and cognac dip with beurre bosc pear spiced chutney and housemade crackers. The L'Artisan Grand Fleuri brie layered with sautéed mushrooms and leeks in Oloroso sherry is certainly a crowd favourite.

To finish on a sweet note, guests can enjoy straciatella Varrine with Four Pillars negroni marmalade, pistachio and white chocolate, Coeur à la crème - potted heart shaped Shultz Quark with preserved summer berries and walnut praline madeleines filled with whipped Marcel Petite Comté and fresh honeycomb.
