CRAFTED BY THREE MASTERS OF TASTE
Experience a cheesy twist on the traditional high tea with High Cheese!
This year's edition of High Cheese is a story of partnership. Guided by the culinary precision of The Westin Melbourne's Executive Chef Apoorva Kunte, each tier is thoughtfully composed to highlight bold flavour, balance and technique. From the rare, cellar-aged selections curated by The Studd Siblings, Australia's most respected cheese authorities, to the bright, elegant wines of Yarra Valley's Zonzo Estate, every element has been crafted with care and intention to create an immersive experience that celebrates texture, provenance and artistry.
WHAT TO EXPECT - A MENU MADE FOR CHEESE LOVERS
This season's High Cheese menu offers a three-tiered progression of savoury and sweet courses, each showcasing thoughtfully composed dishes where cheese takes the lead. Expect flavour-forward pairings like Aphrodite Barrel Aged Organic Fetta with tomato and lychee tartare, Woombye Triple Cream Brie with pickled beetroot and raspberry almond pesto, and a shared baked Le Conquérant Camembert with thyme and garlic.
The final tier brings a bold finish with desserts such as Aphrodite Galotyri and ube bavarois, and a cacao-rich Basque chocolate cheesecake made with 70% Cacao Trace chocolate, elevated with blistered padron pepper and Tasmanian pepperberry salt.
Each experience includes a glass of Zonzo Estate wine, with your choice of Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir or Prosecco to complement the menu.
